and brothers who were taken hostage during the brutal Iraqi invasion of Kuwait
in 1990. The women reflect sadness, worry, anger, and confusion. The white spots
in the background are the women's dreams. Their light blue clothes are typical
of what women wear when they pray. Light blue also represents innocence.
